I love the concept of putting the long wooden table in the dining area. I just hope I can also spot a table that looks like this one for my apartment for rent legaspi village.

Old stuffs are always cool for me, as well as minimalist themes of houses! Where did you get those colorful clay pots? Got inspiration from your wood decors, thanks!
Hey Kate! Thanks for your comment! I agree with you, old stuff with some history goes well along with an minimalistic theme. The clay pots are made of recycled boat wood in Bali. Åse
Is the table in the second-to-the-last photo a driftwood table? If it is, I have to say the people who made it did a great job making it look like that, a touch of nature to compliment the blacks and whites of the room.
Hi Helen! Sorry for late reply.. I did not notice your comment before now. The table is made of Suar wood, a local sustainable wood from Indonesia. Much used in furnitures from Bali. We have one table our selves http://www.bybjorkheim.com/2013/01/my-home-2-story-loft-apartment-in-oslo.html Best, Åse
Wooden-theme furniture at its finest! I like the wooden chandelier, it breaks the norm of the beaded team. I also noticed that all walls are white. I'm into clear white walls, they also brighten the rich chocolate and/or smoky color of wooden furniture.
I'm honestly surprised that, even if the interior is devoid of any standout colors, it still looks aesthetically pleasing. Must be because the fixtures and furniture complement the color.
The good thing about some of the furniture is that they're colored in earth tones. That way, the place doesn't look overly bright, but it's not entirely white to make it look fairly dull.
The first photo looks awesome. I just wonder why they didn’t put a balustrade for that area.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely love to look at what this interior designer can do for a bathroom.

I like the simplicity of this setup. The furnishings are not too grand, but they suit the place and the mood perfectly.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Tyrell! Yes, I also like wood and furnitures in earth tones in otherwise white rooms..
DeleteHow could you design such good interior style like this. This is elegant and nice. How did you think this kind of idea.
