Pinterest - Moodboard

Pinterest is like an online moodboard, where you can organize photos you find and like on the web. You install a "pin it" button and then you can pin a photo you like and get it directly in your own pinterest moodboard/pinboard. A nice way to collect inspiration for different projects. These are some photos from my interior pinboard.

Restored & Modernised Furnitures

Here are some of the furnitures I have worked on and modernised lately. Last week's treasure hunt resulted in a series of furnitures from the 1920s. I love the fine artwork on old furnitures. All about the details, and high quality materials. I am still working on the dining table that seats up to 16 persons.

Brick wall

Look what I found in our apartment yesterday! A nice brick wall hidden behind some layers of plasterboard, wallpaper and panel. I like!! A couple of hours later the look of the sleeping room was totally changed. I'm looking forward to start with the decoration!
While I was searching for some inspiration I came across this unique apartment (thanks Trude) which is out for sale via finn.no right now.

Light pictures and art

I found the above photos via Design Shimmer, one of my favorite interior blogs. I love the concept of light photos and light art. Would be a nice form of light therapy during the dark Norwegian winter.
The original source is Light boysa company that specializes in light pictures. You can send in your own polaroid and get your personalized light photo shipped back home or you can choose photos from top international photographers.

I visited an art gallery in Bali called YOU NEVER KAN TELL, which also have some nice light artwork. The below photos are from this gallery. I regret that I did not buy one on my last visit and will definitely do on my next one. The gallery is located in Seminyak, close to The Oberoi

Concrete wall - Wallpapers

All these "concrete walls" are wallpapers. Designed by photographer Tom Haga.
I am wondering if I should use a wallpaper from his collection on a wall in the apartment I am working on now. It is a two story loft apartment where there are some real concrete walls on the second floor but none on the first floor. So maybe one "fake" concrete wall downstairs will connect the look of the different floors more?

Tom Haga has also some grafitti-, brick- and woodwalls in his collection. Check out the collection on concretewall.no

French Art Deco - Charlotte Perriand

Every monday there is a big flea and antiques market on the Cours Selaya in Nice.
I bought this french art deco lamp there, designed by Charlotte Perriand for Jumo in the 1930s.
Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) was one of the most innovative and influential furniture designers of the 20th century and is perhaps most known for her collaboration with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret.

Here are some of her furniture designs:
